By entering the contest, each contestant agrees to comply with the all of the contest rules. Contests are open to all legal residents of Ontario, Canada and New York State, USA, 16 years of age and up or with parental consent if under the age of 16. Persons may win only one prize from the radio station for every 30 day period.

Contests also specify one winner per household or company. Prizes must be claimed within 30 days, and must be accepted as is or forfeited. Winners are responsible for presenting photo I.D. upon picking up prizing. Prizing will NOT be mailed. Prizing will NOT be released to anyone other than the winner.

In the event of winning of multiple gift certificates to the same business, only 1 gift certificate is valid per visit.

All winners must meet all individual Station Contest eligibility requirements, which include but are not limited to, providing picture identification, social security number, and signing a release form in order to receive the prizes won.

Winners are responsible for any and all taxes incurred as a result of their winnings. Each winner of prize(s) valued at or with a combined value of at least $600 may receive an IRS 1099 form at the end of the calendar year. Some prizes may require the winner to pay sales tax in addition.

The radio station employees and their relatives, sponsor employees and their relatives, live remote sponsor employees and their relatives, and any other radio station’s employees and their relatives, are ineligible to win the prizes.
Winners of Station Contests, by their acceptance of prize(s), the radio station to use their name, voice and likeness in any or all Station publicity surrounding the Contest promotion.The declared winner and his/her guest each consent to CFLZ-FM use of his/her name, city of residence, photograph, voice, statement and for any publicity or programming purposes, in all media, without further remuneration. The winner and their guest, if applicable, agree to have their photograph taken by CFLZ-FM, which all rights in such photograph shall belong to Haliburton Broadcasting Group Inc.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. All prizes are non-transferable. No cash or other substitutions are allowed. Prizes have no cash value. It is illegal to re-sell any prizes received; if caught criminal charges may be laid. If tickets are won from CFLZ-FM and said show is cancelled/re-scheduled CFLZ – FM is not responsible to replace or exchange tickets for an alternate prize. Odds of winning are dependent upon the total number of contestants who enter Contest.

CFLZ-FM will assume no responsibility or liability for: (i) entries lost, stolen, late, delayed, damaged, mutilated, garbled, illegible, incomplete or misdirected (any illegible entries shall be declared null and void): (ii) any problems or technical malfunctions of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems or servers, computer software problems, traffic congestion on the internet or at any website; and (iii) damage to entrant’s or any person’sRules are subject to change without notice.
